Open Law Challenge
NeoCodex is building a database of law and legal documents that will be free and open to contributions and usage by practitioners and laymen alike. We need your help in getting the data onto the web, refining it, and visualizing it in ways that are meaningful to users.
The Challenge
The Open Law Index, which is run in collaboration with the Open Knowledge Foundation, only covers a selection of international courts, but the plan is to expand its coverage to include all local, national and international courts and tribunals. This is a vast field, with many local variations in data and structure depending on country and region. Come up with your own crowdsourcing or machine learning methods and techniques for data acquisition and refinement to help get local and state law code into the Open Law Index!
